You know there are many ways to support the ministries of the Diocese of Baton Rouge. Here’s one you may not know much about: With a little forethought, you can include a gift within your estate plan that supports our mission and provides you with tax benefits in return. Such gifts are known as “planned gifts” and they often provide you with two additional benefits:

Many assume planned gifts are only for the wealthy. Far from the truth, planned gifts are for anyone with an estate. Might that include you? Well, if you have any belongings, then you have an estate. A gift in your will or revocable living trust is the most popular type of planned gift. This option is flexible and can be structured in a number of ways. It may be in your interest to find out.
